The collab is officially done! Here is the final product. Thanks so much for joining in!
If you didn't get to join in, don't worry! We will likely be hosting an exchange sometime in the future along with another collab of this nature, as this was definitely a success!

Collab: A Winter Wonderland by AlfaFilly

 Happy 2018 everyone!

Greetings everyone! If you guys remember, last year we held an art exchange/Secret Santa around this time. This year, we decided to try something different. This year we will be holding a collaboration event!

What kind of collaboration?
It's quite simple! Everyone submits an image of their characters fitting the specific theme, and all the images are put together to make a grand scene!

If you are confused on what this may look like, here are a couple examples:
Epic Pyro Birthday Collaboration Celebration by AlfaFilly AlienAlliance Beach Invasion Collab by AlfaFilly

How does it work?
:bulletblue: Draw one of your own characters on a transparent or white background.
:bulletblue: Save it as a .png or flattened .psd.
:bulletblue: Upload the image to your dA
:bulletblue: Re-comment OR note the group with the link to your image, and mention your character's height for reference.

I will take each individual image and put them together on a single background, thus creating a nice collaborative piece of art!

The theme for this is simply :snowflake: WINTER :snowflake:
Building a snowman? Drinking hot chocolate? Snuggled up in a warm coat or wrapped up in scarves? Having a snowball fight? Anything goes!

Misc. Info:
:bulletblue: You may have up to two characters. The characters may be interacting with each other or they can be separate. If you specifically want your characters placed beside each other, please say so in your comment.
:bulletblue: Your character should, ideally, be a character from one of your comics. It does not have to be a main character, though.
:bulletblue: If you have issues with making your image transparent or white, comment and I will see if I can help!
:bulletblue: While you shouldn't include any background elements yourself, if you'd like to add props that is welcomed! You do not have to add shadows underneath your character either, I will be doing that.
:bulletblue: Please avoid giving me images with heavy watermarks and please understand I may have to alter your artwork just a smidge (such as overlaying a shadow for cohesiveness or adding snow over their feet. Nothing severe, though!) so if you are uncomfortable with this, please do not submit.

I will personally paint the background myself once I get a bearing of how many individuals may be participating, but it will likely be a nice winter landscape with snow!

The Deadline to submit will be December 30th (I won't be super picky about timezones since I won't be collecting images until the following night, but please use Central Standard Time as reference). I'll be submitting the final image sometime either December 31st or January 1st!

Have fun everyone! If you have any questions, please let us know!

Hello! I've been reading trough your rules to join as a contributor,
and I wanted to ask you, if someone has only 12 pages out, yet have the whole script written out (and reviewed), is it still possible to join, or it's better when the whole 15 pages are out? (Also, does covers count as pages, or just read-able content?)

It's probably what most people say, but thanks for accepting me to the group! I usually write a large description when joining, but I never get the feeling it's being read.. so instead here I'll post my thanks.

I hope we'll have a good time together!
